COUNSELOR - Academic Resource Center Counselor. This full-time position involves regular meetings with at-risk students to provide academic counseling along with personal, career, and financial counseling as needed. The counselor also advocates for students and refers them to tutors, faculty, the Center Director, and other campus services. In addition to maintaining confidential files on each student, the successful candidate will also teach two sections of the Freshman Study Skills course and will assit in other Center activities such as serving on committees, working pre-registrations, and writing reports as required. Master's Degree, commitment to at-risk students, and college teaching experience required. Background in academic advising preferred.
